The Sacrament of First Holy Communion at St Mark’s Catholic Parish Inala – 2025
Congratulations and blessings to the 27 candidates who received their First Holy Communion last weekend in our parish in a special Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr Boni Buahendri our Parish Priest and concelebrated by Fr Long Nguyen our Associate Priest.
These candidates attended the preparation sessions throughout August with the Parish Sacramental Team. They received the support of their families and the parish community to fully participate in the Sacramental Programme and learn about this special sacrament of initiation where they are welcome to the table of the Lord to receive Jesus into their heart. They also participated in a retreat facilitated by a representative from the Archdiocesan Ministries.
With prayerful participation of family, friends, parish and school community, the candidates attended a solemn Eucharistic Celebration to receive the most precious body of Christ for the first time through the Sacrament of Eucharist.
Certainly, these 27 candidates experienced the real presence of Jesus as they reverently knelt to receive the gift of Eucharist.
May God continue to bless them and strengthen their faith to be transformed and live out the presence of Christ.
On this very special celebration of Sacrament of Eucharist we pray that we truly experience Jesus who is our life and in the gift of his Eucharist, we find love.
